“A fool is a man who never tried an experiment in his life.”
As I read the various personal development and business books and review them on this blog good ideas come up on what I can experiment with in my own life. Personal development is not a spectator sport – we have to try things out. Why not try them out in the laboratories of our own lives?
This is what I want to do. Review a book or resource and identify key actionable points. Take what looks like a good idea, try it out and see what changes I note in my life. Does the idea work as expected? Is it worth sharing with others?
Some experiments may be very short. However if we want to make a change or incorporate a new behavior in our lives generally we need to practice the new behavior every day for 30 days. It is generally accepted that this is the time it takes to build a habit. I am expecting that whatever ideas I try out will be largely positive and therefore I will want to keep the behavior!
I will be generating on this page a list of ideas to try out over the coming months. Please also suggest below if you have any ideas for me to try out or good books for me to review.
