30 Day Challenges

“A fool is a man who never tried an experiment in his life.”

Erasmus Darwin

Life-long learning is a key attribute to remain relevant in today’s fast paced world of industry 4.0.  As I read various personal development, technology and business books and review them on this website good ideas come up on what I want to learn and experiment with in my own life.

Life-long learning and personal development are not a spectator sports – we have to try things out in the laboratories of our own lives.  This is where the 30 day challenge comes in.   Take what looks like a good idea, try it out for 30 days and see what changes.  Does the idea work as expected?  Is it worth sharing with others?

Some experiments may be very short.  However if we want to make a change or incorporate a new behavior in our lives generally we need to practice the new behavior every day for 30 days.  It is generally accepted that this is the time it takes to build a habit.  I am expecting that whatever ideas I try out will be largely positive and therefore I will want to keep the behavior!

I will be generating on this page a list of ideas to try out over the coming months.   Please also suggest below if you have any ideas for me to try out or good books for me to review.

Please see the experiments by clicking the link to Experiments under Category or by clicking here  .

In addition if you would like to read my book on experiments in personal change for more brilliant ideas for personal growth please see more details about the book below.

Happy Experimenting!
